Lately, I've had a totally change in mindset on eating healthy. Mind you, I used to hate eating salads. Yes, hate, or strongly dislike, I never saw the point in eating salads, and eating healthy.
But miraculously that's all changed, and I'm glad that it has. I've been creating extremely simple salads to eat with some tomato, avocado, ham, and eggs. Its also important to add protein in order to get a balanced meal. At one time I was only eating veggies, but I felt dizzy and weak so I had to add more protein and carbs like eggs, ham, salmon and hummus.
The major reason for this change, is wanting to change how I feel from the inside and out both mentally, physically and healthfully. My health is not exactly in the best of shape. I get tired often and really didn't pay attention or care for what I was putting into my body. And it is really important to know what your putting into your body. Your body really is your temple.
And all this is coming from a total foodie, so I love and eat all the junky munky food you can think of. But I moderate when and how much I eat of those foods.
Eating salads, is only the start to getting healthy. And of course drinking water is also important for a healthier you. I love putting cucumber slices in my water, its really refreshing and delicious! Next up is starting to exercise weekly which I've currently started with 30 minutes of treadmill time or just walking outside!
