I had a blast going to DC Restaurant week for 4 days straight! Haha! :D Its been a while since I've been able to try new restaurants. And honestly, DC Restaurant Week was the perfect opportunity to try out typically pricey restaurants on a budget. Its $20.11 for a three course meal for lunch, and $35.11 for dinner.
For the starter, I ordered the proschiutto with cantaloupe and shaved parmesan. I just want to say, I must have been an Italian in my past life, just because Italian is one of my favorite foods, I love pasta and cheese oh and wine of course! Delicious! :) I devoured the entire thing, it was amazing! For my entree I got a lobster roll, sadly it was only average, I did however take a picture of it, before even starting, lol. But the french fries were delicious, and very fresh! Lastly, we had a variety of desserts, we all ordered separate desserts to try everything. The winners, were the classic Tiramisu with rasberry sorbet (left), and the passion fruit tart with coconut ice cream(back).
But I'd love to go back for the ambiance, it was very nice and peaceful. And it still had a bit of hustle and bustle because they were quite busy.

I'm obsessed with Colorado restaurant week! You are so right, trying these pricier restaurants out is so much fun, and it's a great way to kind of boost the local economy!
