{Two of my favorite looks from Christian Dior's Spring Haute Couture 2012 collection via style.com}

{ I always love the juxtaposition of modernity + nature. Isn't it gorgeous? Test Tube Chandelier by Pani Jurek via trendland}

{I have never ever dyed my hair before, but this fun chalk coloring idea is something I MUST try!! }

{I've been doing really well not posting as many food photos as usual. Because I love talking about food like none other and I could talk about eating food to a wall ... lol. So how could I resist posting this amazing fried pickle recipe from Spoon Fork Bacon?! I must try this asap! And I am by far no cook at all. }

{And the most talked about collection will make its debut on Sunday! Jason Wu for Target! I can't wait! Hopefully I can snag some cute skirts!}

And thanks for all the lovely comments, and kind words as always! I'll be making my blog rounds soon! <3 <3

Have an amazing weekend!! I hope you have a fun adventure, and some laughs!! :)

Peter Som's Spring 2012 collection really stood out to me this year! Seriously, the bright colors, and all those feathery frills! And I adore some of their more minimal pieces as well like that long blue maxi dress, gorgeous! (via style.com)

A really great post by Christine Hassler  on how to truly be the best girl friend to your friends and really realizing who your true girl friends are. Its so necessary to realize how to truly be a best friend and how someone treats you as a best friend. I still have some work on being a better best friend. But check it out here!(img via weheartit)

I made it to the top 8 for the Styleta competition.. I briefly mentioned this the other day, but please vote for me if you can!! :) I would really love to win this! :) http://www.styleta.org/challenge/final/

I am so inspired. I love looking at the behind the scenes looks of brilliant, and talented people. The "A day in the Life" series on Hulu is exactly that. I found it because I wanted something to watch while sewing.  It really is so inspiring, and shows us what it takes to be successful. It shows people like Russell Peters, and Will.i.am. And success doesn't come without hard work and sacrifice. But in the end its all worth it.

Lastly, another blog post, that I found by Lissa Rankin, on the 33 Signs You've Found Your Life's Work! I'm only just beginning to find my life's work and figuring out what I want to contribute to society. And I'm going through these signs, because I feel like my life's work is designing and creating and somehow combining philanthropy with it. :)

Have an amazing amazing day!! <3 <3

I love Gala Darling so so much! She is such an inspiration, and she always is! Her recent post on How to Live a Beautiful Life, is a kind reminder to get your butt into gear, and stop waiting around and having an amazing life!

I am in desperate need of learning how to use my own camera and take self portraits. Since, I usually take pictures of things, rather than myself. But I'm trying to change that with A Beautiful Mess' 5 tips for better self-portraits .

I want to try out these DIY wine dyed shorts from Koi Story . I love the color, its so fun, and perfect for summer,, which is now ending. But there's always next year. And the possibilities are really endless with what I can dye! :D

I watched the livestream of the IFB conference. And it really gave me more insight on how to be a better blogger, and really taking it to the next level. I've learned a lot of things. And here are few of the thoughts, and ideas that really stuck out to me:
  1. Blogging is about being authentic, and focusing on good content!
  2. Don't take your readers for granted and always be grateful for them. :)
  3. Be memorable, and take risks, there are a million blogs out there, and to stick out and be unique, is essential!
  4. Keep it real, and its okay to say "NO" to brands if they don't fit with your brand.
  5. Understand what your blog is about, what is it, and what is it not, and have a mission statement.
Honestly, I could keep going, about all the amazing things I learned from the IFB Conference. But I will just keep it simple and leave it at 5 main points that really stood out to me. What do you think are the most important aspects of blogging?

I love supporting entrepreneurs, especially in this terrible economy. And Daily Candy's Start Small, Go Big contest, is really a great way to support these entrepreneurs, vote for your favorites so they can get mentored by the best in their industry. There's only six days left, so go support them! :) I hope I can apply next year!

I hope everyone is having a great week, despite the weather! :) This week just flew by!

I'm so inspired to get a crafting space and organize it. lol. Right now, I don't have a "home" so I don't have a consistent space for creating which I feel I really need desperately, these inspirations will just have to tide me over for now. I absolutely adore the bright colors too! :) (Via pinterest)

I love this short post by Tony Gaskins, he always has an amazing message to convey! "Don’t be afraid to say NO to things that don’t meet your standards because ultimately you’ll be saying YES to something greater!" I seriously love it, because far too many people settle for less than they deserve!

The CFDA Design Manifest, which I think is everything fashion should be! (via allfashionthingsdc)
