I had a mini DC adventure yesterday and it was fabulous! :) My friends and I wandered from Eastern Market and ended up at the Natural History Museum! lol. It was a lot of walking but it was so gorgeous out. So I didn't mind at all. And yes this is an actual personal style post, and I'm excited to share it with you because I actually have more than one photo of this outfit. I'm working on taking better photos, any tips and etc would be amazing! :)

CAPFABB Meet Up @ Madewell

My first ever CapFABB meetup and I'm so glad I went! It was a bit intimidating at first but I eventually got the hang of it, at least I hope so. LOL! It was really great laughing and talking about fashion and blogs. Its amazing how nice everyone was! 

Also, I'm not sure what's up with my camera, but I swear I will learn how to use it and take better photos next time! :)  I'm really trying to make a conscious effort of taking more photos and also, hopefully doing video and incorporating more of my own personal style into the blog. <3

Fashion's Night Out - Day of Events

 Hey Loves, It is that time of year again! And fashion week is going to be kicked off with yet another amazing Fashion's Night Out. Here are some amazing events for you fashionista's in the DC area for the day of September 8, 2011! 



And of course from 6 - 11pm there will be Fashion's Night Out in Georgetown, it will be a ton of fun! They have even more amazing events planned and I can't wait to attend! :)

DC Restaurant Week 2011: Occidental

Haha, so this is the last blog post on DC Restaurant Week!! :) Occidental is right next to the Willard Hotel and The courtyard was gorgeous! When you walk in, there are paintings of the presidents, and throughout the restaurant walls are covered with photos of politicians and inspiring leaders, including Martin Luther King Jr!

DC Restaurant Week 2011: 2941

Hey, isn't this supposed to be a post about DC Restuarant week?.. well yes, but I'll just insert an outfit post too! haha. 2941 had a beautiful view and a koi fish pond too! And I fell in love with it. I'm wearing an h&m dress, with a belt from Korea(worn backwards intentionally), and wedges from Nordstrom Rack(definitely a look for less)! More about the food behind the cut!

DC Restaurant Week 2011: Lia's

I had a blast going to DC Restaurant week for 4 days straight! Haha! :D Its been a while since I've been able to try new restaurants. And honestly, DC Restaurant Week was the perfect opportunity to try out typically pricey restaurants on a budget. Its $20.11 for a three course meal for lunch, and $35.11 for dinner.

PURE : All-White Cocktail Affair!

I am so excited to present you guys with the PURE: An All White Cocktail Affair! Its going to be an amazing night of fashion filled with amazing hourderves, live music and cocktails!!

Four of my very talented friends are going to be in the fashion competition. Each selected designer will be provided an image/theme in which they will be tasked to translate the image into an artistic, fashionable (yet wearable) design. And we are given the honor of voting for the winner! But it will definitely be a night to remember. There will be photographers, bloggers, designers, event planners, models, MUA's and so many more fabulous people! I will be attending the event and then covering it for you all to read! So I'm super excited for it! Be sure to buy a ticket and attend! It would be great if I could meet up with you guys! :)

DC Fun: Truckeroo II

Truckeroo was amazing and the weather wasn't too hot! There were so many people who came out. Truckeroo is a monthly event where all the food trucks park in one spot to showcase food trucks! Um, this was heaven, because I hardly ever get the chance to venture into DC when the food trucks are out. And I seriously had a feast, I went with my sister & brother-in-law, it was a blast!
